The flexibility of our function room makes it a delightful space for holding your special occasion celebrations of any nature. It has been utilized for family reunions, gala dinners, cocktail parties and gatherings with friends celebrating special date birthdays, as well as being the perfect space for celebrations of life gatherings and of course weddings - whatever the reason The Islander Function Centre offers you a unique tropical location for your event, with the added benifit of onsite accommodation for guests who have to travel.
The Island Function room: A popular choice for larger parties as it easily caters for up to 100 guests with flexible seating options. Our function room can seat up to 100 guests for an elegant dinner or 120 for an informal standing cocktail party. Filled with an abundance of natural light it adjoins the wine bar and an inviting covered alfresco space where your guests can mingle and relax.
Terrace Wine Bar: Perfect for small casual events of 15-20 people, or combine it with the adjacent covered Courtyard for a larger informal celebration.
The Courtyard: Just off the bar our covered courtyard overlooks the lagoon pool and is a great informal option which works equally well for a cocktail party or gourmet BBQ.
The Terrace Restaurant: A more relaxed space for smaller groups to enjoy themselves, ideally suited for groups of around 10- 20 who will share the space with other diners.
Tropical Garden Lawn: Take advantage of our lawn area, framed by lush tropical gardens, for a cocktail party, gourmet picnic or race day get together, suitable for up to 100+ guests.
What could be better than soaking up the sun or celebrating under the stars on a large grassed area surrounded by tropical gardens; it's a wonderful backdrop for a fun get together.
Our dedicated Events Coordinator can help you plan all the details, from helping you decide on a theme (if you want one) to suggestions on how to bring your theme to life. They will help organise any equipment you need such as, microphones and audio-visual equipment, special lighting or entertainment. They will suggest the best table set-up depending on your numbers and type of function, and walk you through all the space options and associated costs for your event.

You set a bar tab limit, once reached guests can purchase their own drinks.
PRE-SELECTED BEVERAGE PACKAGE
You select and pay for a set number of bottles of wine & beers for service. Once consumed guests may purchase more drinks at bar prices. Guests can also purchase alternative drinks such as spirits anytime during service.
