Ceremony
Our especially designed wedding lawn is a private and tranquil space framed by a lush tropical garden and is a delightful setting for your ceremony and wedding photos. However, as most brides know you always need a plan B if you are having your ceremony outside and subject to the elements. At The Islander your day will never be spoilt as, if the weather is inclement, there is the option of having your ceremony in our covered courtyard which captures the afternoon sun and overlooks our mini citrus grove and our lagoon style pool. Reception

Our chef enjoys working with couples to design an individual, mouth-watering menu that will delight your guests and fit your budget. In our WEDDING PLANNING KIT you will find some sample food packages for your consideration but we are more than happy to tailor a menu that is uniquely yours.
Make it a weekend of celebrations
For couples who want to continue the celebration we can organise a great recovery breakfast in the restaurant, lunchtime gourmet BBQ in the courtyard or a scrumptious picnic for guests to take to the beach.
Dedicated Wedding Event Manager
Leading up to your wedding day you will be supported by a dedicated Wedding Event Manager to ensure your wedding is as perfect as you have always dreamed it would be. On your wedding day the Event Manager will be assisted by a team of professional and attentive staff, to enable you to experience your day in your special way.
Wedding guest accommodation packages
The Islander Resort provides discounted accommodation packages for your guests, easing the burden of the post celebration drive home. Being close to the Ballina-Byron Airport also makes it easy for interstate guests to attend your special day.
